The first of 3 new DnB Mixes I have to post up, Septembers edition of my Exploration of Bass Drum & Bass series is an EPIC mix featuring many of the songs taken from the new S.P.Y back to basics part 2 album! The album is so good, I had to base this months mix on a selection of tunes from the album. Also included are tracks from Technimatic (the new album is awesome), Total Science, High Contrast, Soul Motion and more.
This mix is a BIG Mix, a real journey mix of Epic proportions featuring some of the best DnB ive heard in a long time!
If you love proper Drum & Bass you should love this mix!
Check out S.P.Y's new album, back to basics part 2, available from all the usual places, its an outstanding album, his production is mindblowing, such a class act album, I hope I have done justice to his music, incorating a selection of tunes from the album into this mix.
The best DnB producer out there in my opinion! Quality! Drum & Bass at its very best!
The last track on this mix, I doscovered by accident but as soon as I heard it I knew I had to include it on a mix. Im not usually keen on Pink Floyd remixes but I just love this take Aprodites take on the Floyd classic, Shine on you crazy diamond! I feel it lends itself perfectly to th mix and makes for a most fitting finale!
